Mr. Marc — Fender Bass. In college he began an all-originals power-pop/rock band called *Batteries Not Included, which played fine establishments including CBGB’s, the Stone Pony and the Waiting Room in Rahway, N.J. When BNI broke up, Mr. Marc turned 180 degrees musically and began playing bass in The Girlettes, a 1960s “girl-group” cover band. He returned to his rocking ways in Corporate America, where he went from full-time bass player and part-time vocalist to full-time bassist/lead vocalist. Job changes marked a return to the D.C. area, and after a couple of failed stops and starts with other bands, he joined the modern rock band Zero Discipline and most recently The Treading Lemmings.
